Across a quiet veil, two figures meet in a suspended moment between heaven and earth.

One speaks. The other receives.

What passes between them is not seen in full, but it is felt. Light moves like language. It travels from one to the other, carrying something sacred, something entrusted.

These are keywords. Names are keywords, and keys open doors.

In sacred language, keys are not physical objects. They are authority given by God to open, reveal, and bind. They make it possible for what is spoken on earth to be recognized in heaven.

Here, the keys are shown as light moving from mouth to ear, from one soul to another. They suggest something living and active, not held, but entrusted. They are received with readiness and carried forward through covenant.

One figure’s eyes remain closed in offering. The others are opened, filled with light, as though something long sought is finally understood. There is a sense of nearness. Of being taught. Of crossing from seeking into seeing.

This idea is rooted in scripture, including Doctrine and Covenants 107:18–20, which describes divine authority connected to angelic ministry, sacred knowledge, and entry into the presence of God.

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law” Psalm 119:18.

This work holds that moment. The instant when understanding is given, when light reveals what was always there, and when the soul begins to recognize the presence of God.
